This is a nice cozy Japanese sushi restaurant. Nice sushi set at good price. Unagi on my Unagi rice is big and worth the money. Prefer less sauce. Will bring my family when off on weekdays. Fish cake red bean is smaller than expected

Value for money and the food is decent. All combos come with miso soup and they serve pretty good tea, don’t expect a fine dining service and meal here, you get what you pay but highly recommend!

I’m moving my rating from 2* to 5* now that the rice issue on the sushi has been resolved—it’s done perfectly. This time, I ordered both a sashimi plate for $14.50 and a sashimi roll lunch set combo for $20. I initially chose the tuna sashimi, but it looked a bit unappetizing and pale, so I requested it to be switched to a salmon sashimi, and they happily obliged. Boy, the sashimi slice was huge. I was told a skilled new chef has replaced the previous one that did the undercooked rice, and it shows. Great value. This would be back now on my go-to lunch spots during workdays from now on! ************************************************** I love this place. Unfortunately, the sushi rice was undercooked. Rice was tad crunchy on some grains. When you look at the rolls, grains have whiter colours on some grains. I won’t hesitate to come back and try something different due to location and might change this review if things are better on the next visit.
